The PickupBit is a ''step up'' in control for the trained barrel horse. The Pickup Bit works well for obtaining shoulder control on seasoned horses that need help keeping their shoulders lifted going into the turns. This bit offers increased shoulder control and rate when needed.
The Short Shank Twisted Wire offers less leverage than the long shank yet has the most severe mouth piece of the Goosetree Pickup Bits.
